You never write, you never call….
So this morning at 9:30 PST I put in a call to the CJC to get Bernie’s version of the Lying Jackal’s departure…no callback.
Meanwhile, over at Blazing Catfur this surfaced purporting to have come from the Lying Jackal:
“Contrary to what the crazy neocon blogs claim, I’ve never held any paid position with any Jewish group. I was on the Canada-Israel Committee board a few years back, and I’ve provided a bit of free advice to the CJC, twice. (Free advice is worth what you get paid for it, etc. etc.)
To avoid conflicts, and because an election is rumoured to be coming, I’m going to be resigning lots of things, as I always do – lobby roles, etc. So I’ve stepped back from any involvement with any of those Jewish community groups . blazing
Now, for the moment I cannot prove that the Jackal actually wrote this but, assume for the moment he did, why would there be a non-disclosure agreement in place? After all, if the Jackal jumped rather than was pushed, the CJC would surely be happy to back that story up.
And, not to be picky, but what election?? In the middle of a severe recession, with the Liberal Party broke, does anyone really think there is an election in the offing. Well, apparently, the Jackal does.

Mr. Curie, Im sure all Mr. Farber has to do is call you back immediatley. I mean you call 9:30am PST ( that’s 12:30pm EST) and boo hoo hoo he doesn’t call you back. Why should he? Who are you? one of his constituants? How many calls do you fighure he gets a day that he needs to call back a loony right blogger? Give me a break.

Quite right Karen…when a guy says to me, “Call any time you have a question” and I do and he doesn’t call back I’m fine with that. But, if the call is explicitly about the Lying Jackal’s status with the CJC, you’d think Mr. Farber would take the ten seconds to call back and say his friend was still with them. Or not. Either way.
Take away…the Jackal’s gone. There is a non-disclosure agreement in place and Farber does not want to talk about it. I’m fine with that. But it says a lot about how the Jackal was underbused.

Jay you are so full of it. A friend of mine actually heard Farber interviewed today on the Dave Rutherford show out of Calgary. Rutherford apparantly asked Farber this very question and guess what, the Jewish Congress does not , my chum said, talk about its private administrative matters. End of subject. Farber did warn people however not to believe everything that is written on blogs. So there you have it. Nothing to take away and all the BS that has spewed forth from you and others is just that BS. However you want it to be fact , I guess like so much other BS that you and others peddle, people will believe what they will. But clearly more and more people are just not believing you and your cohorts.

Weak Gus…If your report is accurate Farber simply didn’t answer the question asked. And, as I have pointed out elsewhere, if the Lying Jackal’s account is accurate – as if – there is no reason at all for Farber not to discuss it.
All of which suggests that there is a non-disclosure in place and that the Jackal got the boot.
And, day 2, and no call from Farber to clear the matter up.
