I checked out the Bread and Roses News Forum....no post.
I checked out the Babble News forum...nada.
So, here’s a shout out to my lefty, feminist, readers (well, Dawg actually)...any sign that the feminist movement is up in arms about this poor little girl, stoned to death as a rape victim? Send links!
Update: I forgot that I have two lefty readers: Robert McClelland points me in the direction of Antonia Zerbisias who blogs about the child double victim here. Along with the usual “it’s America’s fault” she does manage to get the point, “That said, right now on Earth, women in fanatical Muslim societies do fare much worse than elsewhere.” Indeed. Good for the Zerb!

You’ve got a long wait. The feminazzis are still too preoccupied directing their outrage at Sarah Palin: http://www.cbc.ca/sunday/2008/11/110208_1.html#comments
Note the advice of one “feminist” to Palin: “GO HOME!...Bake up some apple pies…”
Funny how they can’t trouble themselves to demonstrate even half that outrage over the murder of a rape victim.
Even though this news is less than a day old Zerby wrote about it, jackass. Meanwhile, where’s your outrage over Harper spending 100 million bucks to alleviate the effects of global warming in poor countries. Considering you don’t believe global warming is occurring you should be howling about that. And that news is 2 weeks old so you have no excuse other than you’re a brain dead partisan fraud.
Actually Robert, I completely agree with you. It is outrageous that Harper has committed 100 million to poor countries with strings attached. Especially “climate change” strings. That sort of money could make a real difference in an anti-malaria campaign or a vitamin initiative. It was a very dumb thing to do.
And you are right about the Zerb…which I will update.
Jay, thanks for the update but how did you miss this?

Well there you go. A person wrote about it. While I see Robert manages to conflate that with Steven Harper spending money on the gobal warming swindle. Makes sense to me.
Because, Antonia, I only looked at “news” rather than “Feminist News”. Oddly I thought that stoning a 13 year old gang rape victim to death would have managed to struggle up to the front page.
But I was glad to see you on the story – spin and all. This is the sort of thing which needs to be covered. And I agree with you that the Canadians should not succumb to cultural relativism and defend the idiot Imams in the ‘Stan as they condemn Afghani attempts to break out of the 7th century.
Robert McClelland is federal Attorney-General of Australia.
FFS, Jay, isn’t the whole point about feminists that they can speak for themselves? Now I have to go out and corral them for you?
Anyway, what about an UPDATE on Bread and Roses?
Sheesh.
Can you imagine the reaction of Zerbisias ,Dawg and the others, if Christian Fundies had stoned some poor girl to death in Texas.
Well Stephen, the 8 comment thread at Bread and Roses is kicked off with this wee gem:
“Wonder how long after the Palinists take power the same thing will be happening to American women seek reproductive autonomy”
So they are anticipating your question.
