In a normal company if the chart looked like this over the last five years and circulation and ad sales were in decline management would be gone and the company, in all likelihood, taken over and broken up to, well, add shareholder value.
In a family controlled company the poor shareholders are stuck with the ride straight into the floor. Or they can sell and crystallize the loss.
Past time to move on.
