Can you imagine anything more gruesome than being stuck at the Lewis dinner table listening to Dad going on about Bush and Aids, Mom doing one of her gross feminist rants and little Avi defending Hezbollah? I know I would feel forever indebted if someone turned on the TV, even if the only escape was to a little Mulroney previewing Canadian Idol.
