The liar Kinsella wants my address

And the silly man wants me to man up and post my home address on the internet. Having watched him melt down when Joan Tintor even hinted at where Kinsella hangs his hat I am sure Kinsella will understand if I don’t rush my address onto the net.

But the liar has my email address and I am perfectly prepared, on certain undertakings – like not publishing it to the net – to fire off my address.

Interesting case: my claim is that Kinsella is a liar. To make good that claim I would have to find a single instance in which Warren has not told the truth. Happily I have one very well documented instance which will make a rather brilliant counter-claim…do you think there might be two? Do you think I should start collecting?

Update: Kinsella gave the undertaking required and I have sent him my address for service.

I seem to recall Kinsella getting mad at a local journalist for “telling people where he lived” in a newspaper article.

After he’d told the same reporter, during an on the record interview (?)... where he lived. Or something.

He makes quite a show of saying he is able to track IP addresses of folks (“haters” no doubt) who send him emails, the implication being that he is going to track them down and bully them, I guess, but he can’t get a fix on your address for “service”? Maybe he isn’t as all-powerful as he would like us to think? On the other hand, he’s a lawyer so surely in his legal career he’s had a few deadbeat clients who had to track down to a pay an overdue bill or two. I think in Ontario they call them process servers and they serve papers on people all the time. I think one of those process server outfits could do it. It seems to me kind of deceitful to pretend that not being able to find you is the reason not to serve some legal paper on you, if that’s the case.

Warren is a lawsuit-happy crybaby with a glass jaw. For all his puffed-up “ass-kicking” bluster, he sure can’t take a punch.

    Dear Mr. Currie:

I undertake, as an officer of the court, not to publicize your address anywhere at any time, and pledge only to rely upon it for the purposes of service under the relevant Rules.

You may send it to [the above-noted] email account, as you now have my undertaking, above. Failure to follow through on your offer, made online, may amount to evading service.

    Yours sincerely,

    Warren Kinsella

P.S. This email has also been sent to a known Gmail account used by Jay Currie, put is posted here in the event that account is no longer active. Many thanks.

Wow, you trust that scraped off shit with your address? You are either extremely confident in your position or perhaps a little crazy, neither of which I percieve as a bad thing in this particular instance. (Or maybe the address you sent him is that of a Hells Angels clubhouse).

In any event, please lower the hammer on this fucker and post the remains for all to see. On top of his other glorious flaws, he’s probably a Leaf fan. And you know how hard it can be to scrape THAT shit off.

Now, Security, none of that trash talk about Leaf fans.

It isn’t his alleged lies (he is a Liberal lawyer, it shouldn’t be much surprise) that bother me as much as his proven hypocrisy.

Going on and on (like all rich liberals) about how unimportant wealth is, stating rather pompously that “he doesn’t live in a gated community” (paraphrase), but living in a million dollar house.

Actually POSING for a picture on the balcony of the home for the Toronto Star with his family, then complaining about privacy!

But folks should be careful: as odious a twerp as this guy is, just read his “writing” to see how to do it. Put in lots of “alleges”, ask disingenuous questions, remark that tenuous links you can’t possibly prove are just “coincidences, probably”...etc.

Id, well, so far I have his address for service and his undertaking not to publicize mine. I have no great interest in being sued but if the liar Kinsella wants to he knows where to find me.

Now, I must admit, the chance to ask Kinsella several thousand questions, go through his files, examine his harddrive(s), look at his IP records, Blackberry records and server logs is sort of morbidly attractive.

We’ll see if he takes the bait.

Kinsella has no case. Not to mention, for someone who throws insults around as much as he does, it’s amusing to see how quickly he likes to jump into the courts.

    Man, more popcorn, please.

Who says the blogosphere isn’t entertaining? Hell, I’d give up watching wresting in a heartbeat for more of this. Well, no, maybe not.

I’ve never heard of anyone being sued successfully for being called a “liar” before. Come on, you two, shake hands and go to your rooms. Good grief.

Dawg, it would be a rather interesting claim. And imagine the Discovery, “Mr. K, have you ever, under any circumstances told a lie?”

Ball’s in Warren’s court. Me, I’m not suing anyone.

    When bloggers attack …...

No, this is not a new FOX TV special, but simply yet another (legal) battle that is about to erupt in the blogosphere. One blogger, Jay Currie, has been challenged by another blogger, Warren Kinsella, to produce his address so…

I wouldn’t give that weasel my address under any circumstances, make him pay someone to find it.

    It’s not like he’s a police officer or a sheriff’s officer, serving a summons.

Hope he doesn’t post it on the net.
