The Globe and Mail buys a clue
Sure this is old news. And sure Eric Rugly is writing from Rome rather than Front Street; but the good, grey, Globe and Mail has staggered into the climategate/IPCC fakery/CRU fraud story.
Jeffery Simpson will be pissed.

Well, that happened a little quicker than I thought it would. Maybe the politicians won’t be far behind.

Yes, I noticed that litle pile of stools on page 1.
It’s funny. The Globe did not treat the Bernie Madoff story as one in which Mr. M came “under attack”, merely because he failed to comply with some petty technicality. Nor did it demand our sympathy for Bernie and his children, even though you can bet Bernie got death threats, and might well have felt the urge to do himself in, as criminals caught red-handed often do.
I guess Madoff just wasn’t a vile enough criminal, operating on a huge enough scale, to win the Globe’s sympathy.
