The Big Lie Walking

The liar Waren Kinsella provokes strong reactions in the Canadian blogosphere. Partly because he engages in the doubtful practice of suing bloggers, mainly because he is such a throughgoing asshole.

My friend Kevin Grace has compiled something of a compendium of the liar Kinsella’s more fragrant falsehoods. You can read several of the liar Kinsella’s greatest hits here. It is not exhaustive. The boxed set of Kinsella’s lies would take far too much time to compile. But the wonderful thing about the liar Kinsella is that one lie sounds very much like another. His vivid accusations of anti-semitism and racism blend together in a pitch perfect screed of baseless invective, distortion and willful mis-interpretation.

In a well ordered society the liar Kinsella would simply be shunned. Ignored by people who value truth. I suspect it says a lot about the fast fading National Post that they hired the liar Kinsella as their media critic; unfortunately it also says a lot about a soiety in which truth is subsumed to glibness.
