Six Months of Fun
Federal Liberal leadership contender Bob Rae made good on his threat to boycott the party’s first all-candidates’ forum on Sunday after learning it would not be open to the media or the public.Rae put in an appearance at a hotel in Mississauga, Ont., where the meeting was taking place, but denounced the closed-door policy and refused to take part.
“If we’re going to have a successful renewal of a political party, it has to include the public and it has to include the media,” he told reporters who had gathered at the hotel. “We can’t have a discussion that doesn’t include the media. It’s just not possible.”
“You can’t have a townhall without the town,” he added. cbc
Brilliant.
The key piece to finally burying the Toronto Party is ridicule within the enclave. “Liberals bicker” begins the CBC headline.
The Toronto Party looks silly banning the “town” from the townhall. But it is exactly the way these poor Annex stooges think they should behave.

“and it has to include the media,”
Of course. Especially the CBC, their primary cheering section and publicist. The Liberal Party would be lost without their strategic support.
Myself, I want to move the CBC to Moosejaw lock, stock and barrel.
I suspect the cheerleading would be just a bit muted.
I can’t wait for the Jackal to dump his divisive vitriol into this already simmering cauldron of ethical chaos. Jackal’s not happy unless he’s viciously slagging an opposing faction…turning this “talent” loose back into the guts of LPC should yield chronic organizational maladjustment.
Question is, how long does Harper want to be PM?
All things being equal lets give Rae baby his deserved accolade. After all thats the first thing he ever said that a conservative would ever agree with.
