Obama

when Steve Kroft announced he was going to interview Barack Obama on “60 Minutes”, I decided to hang out, see what the candidate had to say.

And although poised, Obama was so young, and so thin! Could this guy really be an effective President? Steve Kroft asked him about his experience.

Barack Obama responded that there are many old, established companies in America, but only one Google, young, rich and successful. And that sealed the deal. I’m an Obama man. I’ll vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination, I’ll be unhappy if David Geffen gets the last laugh, but I want someone who lives in the now, who knows what’s happening today, not someone lost in the past. bob lefsetz

I’ve been watching some of Obama’s speeches on You-Tube. Were I a Democrat in the States I’d be voting for him in the primaries. Partially because I really cannot stand the ever preachy Hillary, but largely because the man can give a speech and make a point.

Plus, as I have no vote, I look to the sheer entertainment value of American politics: McCain vs the Hildabeest? Coma inducing? McCain vs Obama – riveting. The old silverback takes on the new kid on the block. It would be a grand race.
