    ....and then the tell tale crack of a 30-06 taken from the PU trucks gun rack ends the chase happily…with the bear as Inuit food … as it should be.

    The only beast (with the possible exception of some of the big cats) that has no natural fear of man, just views us as another food source.

    Anyone venturing out in that country without adequate backup (read large calibre firearm) is an idiot, had the bear got him then it’s just natural selection at work, IMHO
