But to fulminate and froth about CTV, as assorted Grits are now doing, makes you sound like crazy Blogging Tory fringe people, going on and on about mainstream media conspiracies.Here’s what I know:
• the head of CTV, Ivan Fecan, headed a major fundraiser for Jean Chrétien
• one of his senior Vice Presidents, Paul Sparkes, was Chrétien’s Director of Operations
• the network’s pollster, Peter Donolo, was Chrétien’s Director of Communications
• Craig Oliver was one of the closest people to Pierre Trudeau, and used to go on annual canoe trips with him
• Jane Taber used to be regularly mocked by Frank magazine for being a Liberal shill
• Roger Smith’s wife was a senior aide to Trudeau
• Jim Munson, a Liberal Senator, became a Chrétien aide after leaving a senior spot at CTV
• Mike Duffy is a creampuff, and has loyal friends in every party
• Seamus O’Regan hangs out with Justin Trudeau and Dalton McGuinty’s former Principal Secretary
• Rosemary Thompson is a sweetheart, and used to date Liberals at Carleton (the shame!)
• Bob Fife would take down anyone, if they deserved it, regardless of party affiliation lying jackal
Say what you will about the Lying Jackal he knows where the bodies are buried. Just in case you were wondering how far in the tank Canada’s largest private broadcaster is.

I don’t know about you Jay, but Kin-zilla’s anecdote of Craig Oliver and PET spending quality time in the same canoe tingles the funny bone and opens a flood of possible material for stand up one line comics.
Seeing how TLJ seems to be some authority on CTV esoterica, I wonder if he can answer a question I’ve had concerning both Craig Oliver and Lloyd Robertson….are these guys dead? I mean, are the entities we see with these names on the CTV nightly news clones or the actual real fossilized remains of the original CTV Trudeaupian personalities kept animate with cyborg technology?
....or are they just in some career dead pool with Walter Cronkite?

CTV is not Liberal. This is the same old crap that Kinsella spews out and little know nothings lap it up… You should all be challenging this crap. Remember what Kinsella used to say about Fife and Taber when they were at the Post writing on Chretien and the Grand Mere affair… politics in Canada is dead! It has been killed by the infection of gutter politics.

Mike Duffy hails from PEI. Everyone here knows he is a Tory and indeed all the Duffys are known to be Tories. TLJ is playing word games with the facts, as usual.
On the other hand, Paul Sparks also ran for the Libs in his native Newfoundland, so I guess its safe to say he is a Liberal.
In relation to Jane Taber, I often wonder how many of her “anonymous inside sources” are just TLJ using funny a variety of funny voices.
In sum, it looks like more classic disinformation from TLJ: some truth, some untruths, some in between.

Exactly! Remember Norm Perry on Canada AM in the 70s and 80s? Some comedy show had a bit about him that he was actually a space alien: “Norm Perry? He’s not human…” It’s all making sense now.
