Kinsella v Bourrie II

So the lying Liberal in exile is suing Mark Bourrie again. And Mark, to his great credit, is filing a counter-claim. Delightfully, Mark’s counterclaim lists the lying weasel’s inclusion of Mark and myself in his top ten jerks of the internet list as one of the grounds of his complaint.

Jay Currie and Mark Bourrie - One proclaims he is a “bigot,” the other was successfully sued for claiming Warren was involved in the sponsorship mess. Spend their days rewriting Warren’s Wikipedia entry, or posting nasty things about him in chat rooms - usually anonymously. With enemies like this, who needs friends?

I was, of course, aware that the liar had posted this defamatory bit of drivel and blogged about it here. What I am always amused about is that I regularly, here and at the Zerb’s and at various other spots around the Canadian blogosphere, call the weasel a liar. Accurately of course; but I wonder why he’s never fired up a writ.

One lives in hope.

(One might wonder at the National Post having a media columnist who sues journalists…But, what the heck, he really isn’t much of a media columnist is he.)

Nope. No attentiom to accuracy, if I may put it politely. Happy Canada Day, Jay.

Blame that on my old eyes and no reading glasses to hand. I’m not a touch-typist.

But it’s probably a law of nature you’re onto here–how many letters to the editor have you ever seen complaining about bad grammar that do not contain at least one grammatical error?

That’s what I was thinking, actually. Lord knows that I’m guilty of the same on many occasions as well.

Kinsella has the advantage - at least in print - of preview and an editor. One of the irritations of blogging / commenting is the lack of at least the first!
