This may explain why the Jackal has taken to counting his FaceBook friends.
I’ll give my friend Bernie Farber a call in the morning to confirm. But if this proves up it is a great day for Free Speech in Canada and a good beginning for the CJC to get back on the right side on the very serious issues of anti-Semitism which, sadly, are emerging in Canada.
I wonder when Iggy will get the memo?
Update: As of 9:30 Pactific time I have a call into Bernie Farber to confirm the Lying Jackal’s underbussing.
At the moment Ezra has a long piece “more in sorrow”. Kathy endorses St. Ezra and Deborah Gyapong offers up a heartfelt prayer for the Jackal’s soul and family.
I am of a more Calvinist disposition: I would like to see a bit of contrition for the lies. I would like to see apologies to those of us who the Jackal has falsely accused. I would like to see the Jackal withdraw his silly – but expensive – lawsuits and law society complaints. I would like the Jackal to use his good offices to persuade Lucy and His Serenity, Mr. Vigna, to withdraw their law suits and complaints if any. And, ultimately, I would like the Jackal to acknowledge the essential good faith of his opponents on the free speech file.
My fellow speechies seem to think winning a round means the fight is over. It doesn’t. Not with the Jackal. Unless and until he is on the mat, unconscious, the fight continues. There is still the wee matter of his running the Liberal war room. Still his ridiculous CTV gig. Still the lawsuits.
By all means pray for the sinner; but don’t enable the sin.

Wow. If we measure this on a Pathetic Scale, it would have to be a solid 8 or so by itself.
When you add the man’s age, though, I think the new weighting would put him into the high teens, maybe low 20s of pathetic. Out of 10. that is a new low…
And the fact that FaceBook was mocked on the “Daily Show” two years ago (about when I stopped watching), I think the rating would go even lower.
Shorter James: FaceBook was hip for about 15 minutes three years ago, and the Lying Jackal missed it.
