Sorry I am so late at reading some of these articles on Global warming etc.
My thoughts, having read a variety of articles on the subject, it seems to me that this is not a whole lot different then the last several times this has happened to the earth. The big difference however is no one was particularly alive during the prior events. This means that perhaps we are speeding the process a little (very little). The big difference I see is the opportunity this gives a whole lot of politicians and others who see this as they perfect change to be an important person. Who really gets beat on this is the 75 - 80% of the world population who have to pay the bill for these people, the politicians, etc. who would like all the rest to move back into the sone age. Perhaps not very elegantly described but none the less the truth.
