Green on Green

German economics minister, Michael Glos, is calling for the European Union (EU) to make allowances to Germany in its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions due to its phase out of nuclear energy. world nuclear news

There really is only one thing which a German Green Party member hates more than the alleged cause of global warming and that is nuclear power. They don’t quite know why and as it is a religious question best not to ask.

Ah, the hypocrisy continues.

The Germans were able to make the cuts they did because they mothballed all those East German factories and plants that they weren’t going to use anyway.

The fact is, the Germans now have to get even more of their power from France because they are shutting down their nukes. Which just happens to get much of its power from….nuclear.

Same thing happened in Sweden: shut down the nukes, buy more coal powered juice from Denmark, then complain about the smog increasing.

Hey, nobody said that Greens are smart. Just emotional.
