There were hopes tonight that all four of the chief suspects in the failed suicide bombings of July 21 were in custody after arrests today.Two of the three remaining main suspects were detained in west London by armed police this afternoon, a security source told Guardian Unlimited.
Italy’s interior minister, Giuseppe Pisanu, said later that a London bomb suspect had also been arrested in Rome.

The Pakistani president today ordered all foreign students in the country’s religious schools - the madrasas - to leave.
The move by General Pervez Musharraf is part of his government’s attempts to crack down on extremism. The Islamic schools have been in the spotlight after reports that one of the London bombers studied at one.
Gen Musharraf also promised to take action against unlicensed madrasas.

Whooee! Good on them policefellers fer catchin’ them there sumbitches, sez I. Bein’ as them 4 weren’t suicide bombers, mebbe they’ll be able t’ squeeze sum good intel out of ‘em. Not only they ain’t as dead, they ain’t as dedicated.
I seen that one ’bout Mushy shuttin’ out the ferriners from them badass madrassas. I reckon that’s a good step but ol’ PerezFeller don’t turn my crank too much. If the whole idee is t’ bring democracy t’ the mideast, he ain’t exactly a paragon. He’s the guy who came in by way of a armed coup against an elected gummint an’ he’s sed no t’ new elections more’n once since takin’ over by force.
I don’t reckon we need t’ be pinnin’ any more medals on ol’ MushBoy’s chest. I figger he’s headed fer the selfsame fate as that other uniform-wearin’ sumbitch, Saddam. I reckon them two is cut from the same cloth an’ sooner or later the Merkins is gonna see what sorta dictator they been in bed with.
