Galloway Lied…Surely Not!

I wonder if any of those who furnished him a platform will now have the grace to admit that they were hosting a man who is not just a pimp for fascism but one of its prostitutes as well.

In their moral vacuity the anti-war crowd embraced George Galloway whose middle name seems to be hubris. It is going to be a treat to watch him roasted in Washington - where he did not have to lie to the Senate. But the real game will be the action in England where he lied in order to collect substantial damages from the Telegraph. British judges take a very dim view of wholesale perjury. Says Hitchens,

A minor point Robert, not to interupt your screed: Galloway testified to the United States Senate of his own volition in order, no doubt, to gain publicity for whichever version of swank Arab fascist he was whoring for that week. He then lied to the Senate as he had previously in open Court. He would have been well within his rights to refuse to testify to the Senate but once he decided to he was leagally bound to tell them the truth. He didn’t. A warrant is likely to go out for his arrest.

But not before the English judiciary is finished with the disgusting little man.
