Dumb or Dumber

John McCain is perfectly willing to pander. He is bright enough to know that the certainty on global warming is a crock so he says “climate change”; he is smart enough to know the “food crisis” is a crock but he also knows it will gain him some votes. So he panders. So does Hilly and so does Obama.

I’ve got no candidate in the US Presidential election. I know who I don’t want to win…all of them.

As in Canada, every US candidate is hugging the center line. Might work; but it is not leadership and our world needs real leadership.

Americans have no real leadership choice this time.

I would not describe Obama’s racist, terrorist advisors and allies as hugging the centre-line. Neither HRC nor McCain are perfect but either would be far preferable than the disaster of a President Hussein.

Leaving aside the factual error ( global warming is a crock ) and the observation that “climate change” is not a rhetorical step-back from global warming but a consequence of it ( which is in large part produced by fossil fuel burning and land use change ) the words that leapt out at me were “Might work”.

Unless you plan on a coalition presidency, the only strategy that will work is embracing the centre.

America…and the rest of us by default need a warrior leader….or at least one who can jack up a reasonable facsimile of GWB…given the candidates i reckon we all know whom we wish to prevail…

the other option is plainly suicidal…a death by a thousand study and focus groups…..a thousand junkets and commissions and senate hearings…

we’re in a war here…with an implacable irrational primitive pagan foe….with lots of money and time and volunteers…anyone other than mcain would only hasten the inevitable creeping ‘accomodation’ the enemy is pursuing…

remember orwell talkng about just this thing…it’s as absurd as expecting a reasonable accomodation between a fireman and an arsonist…

we need shermans…more marches to the sea….a higher ‘body count’ as william tecumseh said himself we need to kill 300,000 soldiers of the confederacy before they’ll cry uncle….

have things changed ?…no they have not….and if johnny reb only wanted free land and slaves OUR present day enemies want our land and our souls and us as slaves…

my old guv was a decorated shot to bits canadian soldier survivor(only just) of Ortona where we showed the toughest battle hardened regiments of nazi paras that WE were every bit as bloodthirstily maniacal and actually much more so than them…..HE told ME the only thing bad people understand…the only thing that brings them around to talking nice consists in flattening them….we all know this ourselves but are too indoctrinated by LLL progressive doubt to acknowledge.

so…we understand the times call for a war president still….and for a decade or so more i reckon….at least till our soi-disant friends in the arab world call off the dogs of war and muzzle or liquidate their mullahs.

‘a soldier’s life is a life of honour, though none but a dog would have it.”

either phil sidney or prinz rupert….never can remember….but it nicely shows the dichotomy most ‘civil’ folks are unaware of …as they sleep safely with wallenstein by a razor’s edge driven back from the parapets…

ah sidney…..one of my lifelong constant companions…

‘do those above loved to be loved
and scorn those whom love doth possess
do they call virtue there
ungratefulness?”

“here… drink..(to a fellow sodier as he lay dieing in the muck.)THY need is greater than mine.”

i think it’s shameful when we put petty self interest ahead of our fellow man’s and our own beautiful loving long cultivated culture’s interest…see a lot of that these days…so much self doubt…have no idea from whence it sprang……kill or be killed we begleys say…
