Can Farber buy a Clue

Ezra has a post up talking about how his support has increased since the Lying Jackal threatened to sue him. He discusses Bernie Farber, head of the Canadian Jewish Congress. It is well worth a read. I commented,

Unfortunately, the CJC’s ostensible leadership has come to see censorship, any censorship, as a mark of its success. That senior members of the organization disagree does not seem to faze Faber and Co.

In a literal sense Farber is fighting the last war. Which is tragic because in the current war – with Canadians in harm’s way defeating the Taliban – and in the many lawfare cases around the world – the real enemy, radical Islam is just as anti-semitic as the old enemy was.

The Lying Jackal and his ilk cannot quite get their limited intelligence around the fact that radical Islam is not “Good for the Jews”. Nor, frankly, is it much good for the goyium. While Bernie and the Jackal would love to have a rousing chorus of Kumbaya and give the CIC a big hug, the truth is that insofar as the CIC is a radical Islamic organization they are perfectly capable of using the hug to drive a metaphorical dagger into the back of their embracers.

Apparently Farber and the Jackal are simply too dumb to realize this. I suspect that the majority of the CJC are not and I will be interested to watch the next CJC Annual Meeting. Directors have power and they have responsibilities. When an Executive ceases to further the real interests of the organization it is not unheard of for that executive to be removed.

It would be a good strategy for the CJC to move on and leave Bernie and the Jackal to raid Beaches basement and boys rooms for bits of nastiness.

Astute observsion Jay. These guys really are fighting last centuries demons. They will find themselves on the wrong side of the historic record, if for nothing more than the silly free speech hater premise that state tyranny makes us safer.

Jay, your point is irrefutable, but do CJC directors have the cojones to grab the reins back from Bunny Farber before he hippity-hops the CJC into becoming little more than a sideshow on the next Ringling Bros. circus tour? Somehow, I doubt it. “Cojones” and “Canadian” seem to have become mutually exclusive terms of late. That is why the bully fascists are making such headway with nary a nod from the Canadian mainstream media. Talking about the elephant in the room would be “rude”.
